Common questions about nursery digital signage
Is the content aimed at the children?
No. You put the screens in reception, corridors and staff areas, and they carry menus, plans and notices for parents and staff.
Can we show photos of the children?
Yes, you can upload photos from a trip or activity. Check you have photo consent for each child first, in line with your safeguarding and data protection policy.
Do we need IT skills to run it?
No. If your team can use a smartphone, they can update a screen, and you have nothing to install on nursery computers.
Can different staff members manage different screens?
Yes. Your kitchen lead can update the menu and a room leader can post session notices, while the manager keeps full control.
We run two rooms: do we need two subscriptions?
Each TV needs its own Player Licence. Two TVs cost £20/month on Starter, ex VAT, whether they show the same Channel or different content.
What happens if our wifi goes down?
The screen keeps showing the last Board it loaded until the connection comes back.
Is there a minimum contract?
No. You pay month to month from £10 ex VAT per TV and add TVs as your setting grows.
