Brand & Style

One Board, ten Styles

A Style is the house look for your screens: the typefaces, the background, whether rows sit on cards or on hairlines, how much room each row gets, and where your brand colour is allowed to appear. Set one on your Brand and every Board follows it.

The same Board, ten ways

Below is one Template, the Schedule Board, with exactly the same content in every shot. Nothing is redrawn and nothing is copied: the only thing that changes is the Style. Pick the one that suits your building and every Board in your account takes that look, in your own colours with your own logo.

  • 01

    Hairline

Best for Any venue, any brand

Type and rules and nothing else. The quietest a Board can be while still looking designed.

  • 02

    Plate

Best for Most venues, most brands

Raised tiles, lit along the top edge. A modern app finish that looks deliberate on any brand colour.

  • 03

    Aurora

Best for Hotels, leisure, new buildings

A lit, coloured ground under near-clear glass. One continuous pane rather than separate cards.

  • 04

    Signal

Best for Reading at distance: transport, stadiums, hospitals

A departures board. Flat black, condensed capitals, wide spacing, and colour used to mean something rather than to decorate.

  • 05

    Editorial

Best for Hotels, galleries, retail, studios

A serif at size against oversized ghosted markers. The structure comes from the type, not from boxes.

  • 06

    Broadsheet

Best for Councils, schools, theatres, churches

A printed programme on a screen. Warm paper, a text face, hairlines and a double rule under the header.

  • 07

    Soft

Best for Care homes, nurseries, community, wellbeing

A warm light ground with white cards, generous rounded corners and no borders anywhere. Shadow does the separating.

  • 08

    Ledger

Best for Figures, tables, rotas, room lists

A table that happens to be a screen. Ruled and striped, square corners, dense enough for twelve rows.

  • 09

    Poster

Best for Notices, countdowns, alerts, takeovers

Your brand colour is the whole Board and the type is knocked out of it. The live row inverts to white.

  • 10

    Duotone

Best for A strong, confident brand colour

Every tone mixed from your brand colour. One hue, no greys anywhere on the Board.

How a Style fits with your branding

A Style does not replace your branding, it decides how your branding is used.

Your logo, your colours and your typeface stay where they are, on your Brand. The Style decides where that colour lands: filling the live row, washing the background, or used once and nowhere else. Every shot above is the same brand; change the brand colour and all ten change with it. Set a Style once for the whole account, or set a different one on a single Board when that Board needs to stand apart. If none of the ten is right, build your own layout from scratch in the grid editor.
