What turns a screen into a digital signage display
Three things, and only one of them is the screen.
1. A screen
Any TV or monitor with an HDMI input. The digital screen you already have on the wall is usually fine to start with.
2. A player
The small device that shows your content. The NowBoard Player App is free on a Google Play Certified Android TV, Google TV stick or box. The NowBoard Player Pro is a £139 plug-in device for screens that must run unattended.
3. Content you can change
Menus, timetables, notices and welcome messages, kept in NowBoard and updated from your phone. Change it once and every screen showing it follows.
Choosing digital signage screens
Size for the room
People should read the main line from where they normally stand. A corridor needs less than a hall. If in doubt, try a Board on the TV you have before buying a bigger one.
Consumer or commercial
A home TV works for a few hours a day. Commercial displays are built to run all day, every day, and usually cost more. Choose by how long the screen is on.
Landscape or portrait
Most digital signage displays hang landscape. Several NowBoard Boards have portrait versions for a narrow wall or a pillar.
Power and network
Each screen needs power and a network connection at the mounting point. The Player Pro starts by itself and comes back after a power cut.

Do I need to buy special screens?
No. NowBoard runs on the screens you have. Buy new displays only where the old ones are too small, too dim or not built to stay on all day.
Do you sell the screens?
No. We supply the software and the NowBoard Player Pro. Buy the screen from any supplier you like.
How much does it cost per screen?
